Prayer Request for Daniel Hampton

Woody Um and Daniel Hampton

Woody Um and Daniel Hampton at Emory Hospital

Woody Um’s trip to Emory Hospital to visit his friend Daniel Hampton, a 27-year old who’s battling leukemia, brought unexpected encouragement and a quick reassessment of life’s priorities. “God will never put more into my life than what I can handle through Christ” Daniel assured Woody. Although the challenges Daniel faces are immense, Jesus Himself has promised, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you. So we may boldly say, The LORD is my helper and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:5-6.

Please join us in praying for Daniel and his wife Crystal during this difficult time in their lives. “May the LORD bless you and keep you; may His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you; May He lift up His countenance upon you (Daniel & Crystal), and give you His peace.”

3) for effective ministry to missionary children like ours at HOPE International School in Phnom Penh,
4) for fruitful relationships with expatriate and indigenous Christians in a local church and a church planting movement.

Prayer Request for Women’s Conference

Pastor Vek
Pastor Vek Huong Tiang, seated above at Lay Sothea’s wedding, has requested prayer for this weekend’s 11th Annual Women’s Conference where more than 700 Cambodian Christian women have registered to be equipped with God’s words to be used by Him for fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission in the Cambodian society. Vek is trusting God for funds to subsidize the cost of the conference. Please pray that God enables all who have registered to be able to attend. Gifts can be sent to New Life Mission, PO Box 7485, Long Beach, CA 90807.
