Bridges of Light Mission

The Hatch’s cur­rent mis­sion is to invest them­selves in the lives of mis­sion­ary chil­dren at HOPE Inter­na­tional School in Phnom Penh, Cam­bo­dia enabling par­ents to serve in the capac­ity of God’s call­ing as career mis­sion­ar­ies. Tim and Grace are full­time teach­ers while Christi, Daniel and Josiah attend high school. With God’s pro­vi­sion, the chil­dren keep cur­rent with US edu­ca­tional stan­dards by sup­pli­ment­ing their stud­ies with A Beka home school­ing curriculum.

Aside from HOPE School teach­ing respon­si­bil­i­ties, the Hatches are active in their home church in Phnom Penh, Tim as a sub­sti­tute preacher and Grace in women’s prayer and Bible stud­ies. Twice weekly, Tim trav­els out­side Phnom Penh to instruct Cam­bo­dian pas­tors and church mem­bers in effec­tive meth­ods of teach­ing Bible mem­ory verses, scrip­tural songs and Bible lessons to chil­dren. Addi­tion­ally, he works along­side expa­tri­ate and indige­nous Chris­tians in evan­ge­lism and dis­ci­ple­ship in local churches and church plant­ing move­ments. Trips to rural vil­lages have sup­plied med­i­cines, Bibles, read­ing glasses and spir­i­tual sup­port for local Christians.
